{"id":7376,"date":"2024-02-21T17:17:19","date_gmt":"2024-02-21T15:17:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.imanta.io\/blog\/prospector\/"},"modified":"2024-02-21T17:17:19","modified_gmt":"2024-02-21T15:17:19","slug":"prospector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imanta.io\/en\/blog\/prospector\/","title":{"rendered":"Prospector"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 id=\"h2_0\">What is Prospector?  <\/h2>\n<p>Prospector is <strong>part of the LeadBooster add-on<\/strong>, when you add it to your account you <strong>automatically<\/strong> receive <strong>10<\/strong> Prospector <strong>credits<\/strong> to get new leads every month <strong>at no additional cost.<\/strong> Remember that each prospect you add uses <strong>one credit<\/strong>.   <\/p>\n<p>This tool displays all the contacts that match your prospect search requirements, from which you have the ability to choose which ones are <strong>of most value to you and add them to your Leads Inbox<\/strong> to start their movement down the sales funnel.  <\/p>\n<p>In order for all users of the same account to be able to access Prospector and add new leads to the Mailbox, <strong>administrators must give the appropriate permissions <\/strong>and only administrators can purchase more credits for the account.<\/p>\n<p>Prospector gives you access to <strong>a database of 400 million profiles and 10 million companies<\/strong> collected from high quality public and private sources.  <\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"1_prospects_pipedrive\" height=\"285\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imanta.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/1_prospectos_pipedrive.png\" width=\"624\"> <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h2_1\">How do I use Prospector?<\/h2>\n<p>To access, you must click on <strong>Prospector<\/strong>, then go to <strong>Prospects<\/strong> and click on <strong>Prospector<\/strong>. You will be able to locate it with the <strong>blue vinoculars <\/strong> icon <strong>. <\/strong>  <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"2_pipedrive_prospects\" height=\"463\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imanta.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/2_prospectos_pipedrive.png\" width=\"349\"> <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>From the prospects section of your account <strong>you can filter your search.<\/strong> You have the possibility of adding the different conditions that you require to find the ideal prospects, you can search for elements such as: <strong>industry, name, country, position, management level and even specific names of the users.<\/strong> Then click on &#8220;Search&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"3_prospector-pipedrive\" height=\"292\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imanta.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/3_prospector-pipedrive.png\" width=\"624\"> <\/p>\n<p>At the <strong>top of your dashboard<\/strong> you will find the option to <strong>edit\/save<\/strong> your search criteria and below it is <strong>your credit balance information<\/strong> as well as the option to choose which <strong>view<\/strong> you want: <strong>People or Organizations <\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"4_prospector_pipedrive\" height=\"311\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imanta.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/4_prospector_pipedrive.png\" width=\"625\"> <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Organizations View.<\/strong> It allows you to <strong>organize your deals individually<\/strong> and does not have group actions.  <\/p>\n<p>To review the <strong>information in detail<\/strong> it is important to <strong>click on the name of the organization<\/strong> and then review the <strong>contact person&#8217;s data. <\/strong> <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"5_prospector\" height=\"583\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imanta.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/5_prospector.png\" width=\"621\"> <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>People View.<\/strong> Displays directly <strong>the available contact persons according to your search criteria<\/strong>. It gives you the possibility to <strong>add<\/strong> individual and group <strong>prospects<\/strong> <strong>by selecting them and adding them to the prospect. <\/strong>  <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"6_prospector__pipedrive\" height=\"264\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imanta.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/6_prospector__pipedrive.png\" width=\"616\"> <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h2_2\">How to use credits in Prospector?<\/h2>\n<p><strong>At the end of your<\/strong> monthly <strong>period<\/strong> on an annual payment plan <strong>or when you renew<\/strong> your subscription all <strong>remaining Prospector lead credits in your account expire, and new<\/strong> credits <strong>are added<\/strong> to your account.<\/p>\n<p>If you have reached your credit limit and wish to <strong>purchase more credits<\/strong>, you can do so by<strong> clicking on the prospect counter, and then on the information button (i).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"9-prospector_pipedrive\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imanta.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/9-prospector_pipedrive.png\"> <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>If you wish to <strong>modify the amount of<\/strong> Prospector <strong>credits<\/strong> added to your account each month, go to <strong>Billing &gt; Manage Add-ons<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>Once in Billing, in the LeadBooster header, <strong>click on the &#8220;Change Quantity&#8221; option<\/strong> to select how many Prospector credits you want to add to your subscription.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Use the slider<\/strong> to select how many Prospector lead credits you want, <strong>between 100 and 1,000 per month<\/strong>, remember that <strong>the more credits you choose, the cheaper the cost per credit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"10_prospector_pipedrive\" height=\"399\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imanta.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/10_prospector_pipedrive.png\" width=\"555\"> <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>If you have an annual subscription<\/strong> your Prospector lead credits <strong>are added to your account monthly at the beginning of the billing cycle,<\/strong> and as mentioned above, these credits <strong>also expire on the day of the monthly allocation. <\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>It is very important to <strong>remember that any downgrades<\/strong> you make to your supplement <strong>are applied at the end of the billing cycle<\/strong>, so if you downgrade Prospector credits on intermediate days, the downgrade will only take effect at the end of your billing cycle.  <\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h2_3\">How do I add new leads?<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"7_prospector_pipedrive\" height=\"154\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imanta.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/7_prospector_pipedrive.png\" width=\"390\"> <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>To add a prospect<\/strong> and display the person&#8217;s data and organization in detail <strong>click on &#8220;+ Prospect&#8221;<\/strong> on a contact person. With this action, <strong>the contact will be added to your Prospect Inbox<\/strong> and <strong>you will be able to access additional information<\/strong> about the contact.   <\/p>\n<p>Now you can <strong>add specific details<\/strong> you want to include as well as <strong>notes, create an action or convert it into a deal.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"8-prospector_pipedrive\" height=\"565\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imanta.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/8-prospector_pipedrive.png\" width=\"619\"> <\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h2_4\">What are vague prospects and what to do with them?<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Inaccurate leads<\/strong> are usually those that <strong>do not have the correct or updated information<\/strong>, for example, the phone number is disconnected or the email address is no longer active.<\/p>\n<p>If this is the case, <strong>you should report it to Pipedrive&#8217;s research team<\/strong> to get <strong>your prospect credit back<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>To do this you must click on the three dots of the prospect details <strong>(&#8230;)<\/strong> and select <strong>&#8220;Report inaccurate prospect&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"11_prospector_pipedrive\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imanta.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/11_prospector_pipedrive.png\"> <\/p>\n<p>Inaccurate leads <strong>must be reported within ten days of purchase.<\/strong> Any converted leads that were converted to a deal are not reportable.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h2_5\">Want to find prospects this efficient?
